Time Is Passing

Okay, time is beginning to pass very quickly around here. We need to begin the packing process. We need to finalize just a few more details with regard to the interior of the house (hardware for cabinets, towel racks, faucets, sinks, etc.).

I placed a couple more pictures at the end of the House Building page. The shingles for the roof are almost complete.

My job search continues with more resumes being sent out.

My childhood antics haven't been quite as successful as I anticipated. However, I did have a PJ Day this week. See Katie's 50 Days of Summer to fully understand what I am talking about.

The diet continues. I weigh in on Saturdays, so discussing it today could be senseless. However, as of last Saturday, I had lost about 6 pounds. The Wife has lost about 4 or 5 pounds. It's a slow process to lose what can be quickly gained.

Have a great weekend!

I didn't want to think up a title for this post . . . So sue me!

I moved the pictures of the house building process to it's own page in the Gallery. I placed the images in chronological order, so when new images are added, they will be at the bottom of the page. I typically would place them at the top of the page for easy access to new material, but I think it is best to view the entire process in chronological order from the beginning rather than the end.

Although I will post new pictures on this page (in the Journal) of the site, when I place them in the Gallery, I will have different comments than when they are posted on this page.

On a side note, I am going to try to prove I am still a child by playing along with Katie's 50 Days of Summer. Granted, The Wife tells me I'm a child all the time due to the kinds of things I like to do (play with fireworks, drive my car through big puddles in the road, etc.), I just want to prove it's true. I might not be able to follow through with everything planned in Katie's activities, but I will do my best.

For example, this week, I will not be able to make individual pizzas. I wish I could, but The Wife and I make a menu each week in order to maintain a diet. Pizza was on our menu two weeks ago and does not work for us this week. However, I'd love to have them if I could. Pizza is definitely one of the important"happy food" food groups.

With regard to the other activities for the week, we'll just have to see how much can be done with the house building process.
